Élitis Launches New Éphémère & Lin Plâtré Collections
Studio Elitis prides itself in the cross-fertilization of ideas as its designers come from very varied artistic backgrounds.
Their designs, creations, and collections play an illusion between audacity and poetry. Each collection invents a new alchemical lexicon. The studio recently released two collections — Lin Platre and Ephemere.
The Lin Plâtré collection brings its earthy shades, calming, metallic glimmers and Nordic whites as if it’s been touched by the spatula’s strokes. The coarseness of the material evokes the attraction of opposites, raw comfort and finely-worked simplicity.
The Ephemere collection connects paper and linen coming together in creative voiles that play with light and lightness. The collection has shades of diaphanous white and luminous ivory revealing the beauty of simplicity.
Elitis brought together its twin passions of linen and texture in this plaster-effect linen creation with a minimalist, cocooning feel, sometimes with a metallic cooling. Both collections bring you closer to artificial expertise, with some fabric crafted in Japan.
