Lukas Peet’s Vector Series For A-N-D
Lukas Peet, cofounder of ANDlight and founder of Lukas/Peet Design, is active in the fields of graphic design, product design, public space and interior design.
Lukas designed a Brutalist-inspired lighting collection for A-N-D and it recently made its debut. Called the Vector Series, the lamps use precise paths — what graphic designers refer to as vectors — fitted together to create a slim rectilinear section.
The lamps are cut from precise paths and several panels are fitted together to create a slender rectilinear section known as the Vector, which directs light to wash down its inner sloped surfaces, proffering a gradient effect.
The Vector ceiling wall is in reverence of great brutalist monuments and it reveals slight openings on architectural planes as it plays with volumes and voids. The Vector collection includes Vector Pendant, Vector Ceiling/Wall, Vector Table and Vector Floor.
